The Little Flower Micuța floricea
Am g?sit o poezie care mi-a pl?cut foarte mult. ?i ca s? n?elegi ?i voi de ce mi-a pl?cut att de tare am ncercat s? o traduc, dar nu mot-a-mot ci ncercnd s? respect versifica?ia n rime, ca ?i sensul ?i morala poeziei. Dac? am reu?it sau nu voi (cei ce cunoa?te?i engleza) ve?i decide.
Micu?a Floricea
de Beverly Crespo
n aceea?i gr?din?, al?turi, dou? flori au nflorit
Una mic? ?i fragil?, ?tia c? n curnd va fi murit.
Cealalt?, o puternic? roz? se sim?ea superioar?
Pentru c? ?tia c? luna ?i stelele ea va vedea
Pn? la sfr?it de var?.
Floarea micu?? n-avea inima s?-i spun?
C? longevitatea nu este bun?
Pentru c? nu va fi nimeni s? o p?zeasc? de Soare
Ce arde n var? ?i ploile amor?itoare.
Sau poate un fl?c?u prea zelos o va prinde n pumn
?i-i va smulge petalele doar ca s-o arunce, rznd, n drum.
?i pe cnd roza flec?rea despre ce minuni va vedea
Mul?umit? a nchis ochii micu?a floricea.
The Little Flower
By: Beverly Crespo
In the same garden, side by side, two flowers began to bloom,
One, small and fragile, knew her life would be over soon.
The other, a boisterous rose, felt far superior to her friend
For she knew that she would live to see the stars and moon
Straight through to summers end.
The little flower did not have the heart to tell her
That longevity can bring pain,
For who would be there to protect her from the elements,
The blistering sun and numbing rain.
Or perhaps an overzealous lad would clasp her in his grip
And pluck her petals one by one just for the fun of it.
And as the rose rambled on and on about all the delights shed see
The little flower closed her eyes to dream contentedly.
