Rainbow Band Midnight Sun 1970 1971 BLUES ROCK JAZZ ROCK PROG ROCK Denmark Dinamarca A RAINBOW BAND foi formada na Dinamarca foi formada no final de 1969 como um supergrupo constitu�do por  Peer Frost  (ex-YOUNG FLOWERS) na guitarra, Lars Bisgaard (ex-Maxwells) no vocal, Carsten Smedegaard (ex-Beefeaters) na bateria, Bent Hesselmann no sax e flauta, Niels Bronsted, no piano e Bo Stief, no baixo (que acompanharam m�sicos de jazz americanos no Caf� Montmartre de Copenhague).  A ideia inicial era criar um som com influ�ncias de Jazz-Rock Progressivo no estilo de BURNIN RED IVANHOE e o segundo �lbum do TRAFFIC. Rainbow Band Rainbow Band 1970 ��Rainbow Band�� se form� en la primavera de 1970, en Dinamarca, como resultado de un proyecto de supergrupo formado por grandes m�sicos de dicho pa�s. El grupo fue formado por el guitarrista Peer Frost (proveniente de la banda Young Flowers), el cantante Lars Bisgaard (proveniente de Maxwells), el baterista Carsten Smedegaard (proveniente de Beefeaters), y por Bent Hesselmann, Niels Br�nsted y Bo Stief, tres musicos con formaci�n jazz que hab�an tocado en el Montmartre Jazzclub, de Copenhague. Se reunieron con la idea de hacer rock progresivo con un estilo jazz, influenciados por gente como Burnin Red Ivanhoe y Traffic, entre otros. Entre Julio y Agosto, de 1970, comienzan a grabar su primer �lbum, el cual ser�a lanzado a finales de ese mismo a�o. Rainbow Discografia Rainbow foi uma banda de Heavy Metal formada pelo fundador do Deep Purple, guitarrista Ritchie Blackmore em 1975. Al�m de Blackmore, a banda inicialmente consistia de antigos membros da banda Elf; vocalista Ronnie James Dio, tecladista Mickey Lee Soule, baixista Craig Gruber e baterista Gary Driscoll.
