The Series Finale of Bates Motel Airs Tonight on A E Photo Credit: Cate Cameron/A&E The end is near for the critically acclaimed Bates Motel as t he series wraps up tonight after five seasons on A&E. Bates Motel has been superb all season and has built upon the two best episodes of the entire series which were the final two shows of season four that aired last spring. I am sorry to see the series come to an end, but I believe the finale will be a memorable one. Check out the trailer below. Also, Immediately following the explosive series finale, a commemorative half-hour special, "Bates Motel: The Check Out," will give super fans a chance to celebrate and say goodbye to the series they know and love. Questions gathered across social media throughout the season will be answered by cast members Vera Farmiga (Norma), Freddie Highmore (Norman/Mother) and Nestor Carbonell (Sheriff Alex Romeo) and executive producers and creators, Kerry Ehrin and Carlton Cuse....
