The Adventures of Casanova 1948 starring John Sutton!

The Adventures of Casanova 1948 starring John Sutton! So okay, it really starred Arturo de Cordova as Casanova, but the only reason why I watched it was because of John Sutton. Casanova is changed from a lover to a Zorro-type character returning to his home to fight against the invaders, in this case the villainous Comte de Brissac played by John Sutton. Sutton of course steals the films, in his all-too-few scenes. The actor who plays Bernardo is Fritz Leiber, the father of Fritz Leiber Jr., the science fiction writer. [Leiber Jr, wrote a funny (albeit confessional) story entitled "237 Talking Statues, etc.", inspired by his difficult relationship with his father, in which Francis LeGrand II is confronted by the statues and paintings of the title, all self-portraits of his father in various roles, with which he discusses his relationship with his father.] (Sorry its in so many parts but my laptop was behaving very badly while I was doing this). download file now

Teaser Trailer for Thor Ragnarok Starring Chris Hemsworth

Teaser Trailer for Thor Ragnarok Starring Chris Hemsworth One of my favorite super heroes, Thor, returns to the big screen on November 3 for a third time in Thor: Ragnarok . Chris Hemsworth reprises his role for the film as the titular (and perfectly cast) hero is held prisoner on the planet Sakaar and must do battle with his old friend the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo). If Thor wins, he can return to Asgard, which is in peril due to Hela (Cate Blanchett), the ruler of Hel, who plans to destroy the Thunder Gods home world. The supporting cast includes Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Idris Elba as Heimdall and Anthony Hopkins as Odin. The trailer looks terrific and offers an interesting dichotomy between the light and the darkness. Oh, and Thor gets a haircut, but still looks awesome! download file now

Television Spotlight Eyewitness Starring Tyler Young and James Paxton Eyewitness is a ten episode television series that aired on the USA Network last fall and is based on the Norwegian series  yevitne. There are multiple storylines featured in the series, but they are all related to a murder that is witnessed by two teenage boys, Philip (Tyler Young) and Lukas (James Paxton), that involves a drug operation and the FBI. Philip and Lukas decide to not come forward with what they know about the murders, which makes both of their lives more difficult over time. Making matters even more difficult for the teens is their mutual attraction. Philip is gay and comfortable with himself, while the more popular and athletic Lukas is not yet ready to accept and flaunt that he has fallen for Philip. As the teens become closer, Lukas tries to hide what is happening from his friends who believe Philip is an outcast and he spends more time with his girlfriend in order to fight his feelings for Ph...

The Legend of Tarzan Starring Alexander Skarsgård

The Legend of Tarzan Starring Alexander Skarsgård Tarzan is a character I have been exposed to repeatedly over the years. His popularity has been constant for more than a century and the character has appeared in movies, on television and in books and comic books. Created by Edgar Rice Burroughs, the story of Tarzan has been tweaked over the years in various entertainment genres, but I prefer the more feral Tarzan as opposed to the cultured one. In any event, the 2016 action-adventure film The Legend of Tarzan combines the feral and the cultured man into one, with some success.  Alexander Skarsgrd portrays the titular character whose real name is John Clayton III, the fifth Earl of Greystoke. As an adult, he lives in London with wife, Jane (Margot Robbie), and has seemingly left his old jungle life behind. For those unfamiliar with the origin of Tarzan, his parents perished in the African jungle when he was a baby and he was taken in by an ape mother, Kala, who raised him as ...
