The Battle for Couchiching Park I produced this little video for my friends the reenactors in 2006 on Canada Day. My girlfriend Gail Reilly is now working hard for her customers at her Historical Garment Retailors business including some uniforms for the Louisbourg Anniversary of the 1758 Seige where I hope to be recording the event for my documentary By Her Roots . The Lake Simcoe Squadron are gearing up for a number of summer events including Canada Day again in Orillia, Ontario. Next year they will be at the Halifax dockyards for the 250th anniversary of the founding of the Royal Navy Dockyard in Halifax in 1759.
