TDATS Vol 83 Switzerland reboot McChurch Soundroom Delusion LP 1971 This is a late addition to the Swiss Volume 83, an extra band kindly suggested by TDATS fb group admin  Martin Smith . Raw Material Time is 1971 uk great heavy prog rock A progressive rock band whose original albums are now very rare and sought-after. Mike Fletcher had earlier been in Steam and Cliff Harewood later came on board from Welcome, but neither of these bands had made it onto vinyl. Some members were later in Shoot; Dave Green had been a member of Deep Feeling. "Time Is�" with good progressive pieces based on heavy guitar and sax as well as the latter accompanied by keyboard chords. "Ice Queen" includes frozen wind sounds and a slightly discordant flute solo. The most sophisticated composition is "Empty Houses", which has some inspired melodies and strong vocals. "Insolent Lady" has a slow, mellow beginning with acoustic guitar and flute.  This gives way to a piano break which, in turn, evolves into progressive rock with guitar and sax, although this becomes a bit repetitious near the end. The Norman Haines Band Den Of Iniquity 1971 Excelente banda do tecladista e cantor Norman Haines, que infelizmente deixou apenas uma pequena obra para a hist�ria do rock!   Em Birmingham, Norman forma sua primeira banda, a The Brumbeats. Ap�s o fim desta, participa da banda Locomotive, gravando alguns singles e um �timo �lbum!   Ap�s, recrutou o guitarrista Neil Clarke, o baixista Andy Hughes e o baterista Jimmy Skidmore e forma a banda Sacrifice.   Ap�s assinar contrato com a Parlaphone, gravam um single. Redwing Redwing 1971 us astonishing classic rock with country folk blues and psych tinges The seeds of Redwing were sown in Sacramento, California in 1962. when folk trio Tim, Tom and Ron formed. Comprising Timothy B Schmit (guitar / bass / vocals), Tom Phillips (guitar / vocals) and Ron Floegel (guitar / vocals), they soon added drummer George Hullin and evolved into a surf band named the Contenders, then a British Invasion-influenced act called the New Breed. The Next Morning The Next Morning 1971 trinidad stunning psych rock The late-1960s found guitarist Scipio Sargeant having left his native Trinidad for New York City.  Living in Brooklyn his lightening quick guitar began attracting attention, including that of  fellow Trinidadian/guitarist Bert Bailey.  Discovering a shared interest in hard rock, the pair decided to form a band, quickly recruiting keyboardist Earl Arthur, brother/drummer Herb Bailey and singer Lou Phillips.  With Scipio switching to bass the quintet began attracting attention on the citys club circuit.
