The fact about Donald Trump and the attack in Canada

The fact about Donald Trump and the attack in Canada Canadians have taken to social media to defend their countrys healthcare system after Donald Trump criticised it during the US presidential debate, characterising it as a slow, catastrophic system.  Some 30 minutes into Sundays heated debate, Canadas universal healthcare system an unrivaled point of pride for most Canadians  made a rare, if unflattering, appearance. The swipe came as Donald Trump responded to an audience question regarding the Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare. After pointing his thumb at Hillary Clinton, he told the audience: She wants to go to a single-payer plan, which would be a disaster, somewhat similar to Canada. Canadians, he continued, when they need a big operation, when something happens, they come into the United States, in many cases because their system is so slow, its catastrophic in certain ways. Many Canadians on social media bristled at the remarks. ...

The British North American Act In The Beginning 1969 canada uk eminent garage acid psych

The British North American Act In The Beginning 1969 canada uk eminent garage acid psych Named for an act of British Parliament that helped establish the Canadian constitution, the British North-American Act were, fittingly enough, comprised of musicians from both Canada and the U.K. (though in the true spirit of internationalism, keyboard man Andy Bator was born in Hungary), and their sole album, originally released in 1969, is a gentle and likable fusion of folk-rock and psychedelia, with a bit of garage rock creeping in around the edges. "Joe Cool" is a swaggering tale of a self-styled ladies man that wouldnt seem at all out of place on a vintage garage rock playlist (especially with Bob Allens primal guitar work), and "If Youre Looking for Honey" covers similar musical ground, but most of the album follows a gentler and trippier path, especially the sunny "Corduroy Coat," the languid and low-key "The World Would Understand," the baroque pop e...

The Day After The Sabbath 58 All Thy Sons Command Canada pt 2

The Day After The Sabbath 58 All Thy Sons Command Canada pt 2 Download here: [mf] or [mg] pass:  tdats TDATS 58 is my second collection of Canadian tracks. I was sure I had exhausted the possibilities on my first Canadian collection, [EDIT: there is now also a third: Vol92] but with some help from various online cohorts and some more extensive searches I have come up with another winner! We kick off with what I consider one of the best tracks I have ever found, at any time. Torontos "The Churls" made a couple of albums in 68 and 69 and this track is just about as good as heavy psych can be, but its also a progressive rock pre-cursor with its excellent production and considered structure that builds up layers of intensity. Vancouvers Trooper are up next, they created a fair few albums of melodic pop-rock to varying success in the late 70s and to be honest, were not that great but I do dig "In Trouble Again" a lot, just fun, heavy driving rock, the kind that you wanna...

The Crazy People Bedlam 1968 canada intense experimental theatrical multi psychedelia 2011 remaster

The Crazy People Bedlam 1968 canada intense experimental theatrical multi psychedelia 2011 remaster Little is known about this late-60s band other than they were Canadian, recorded their sole album Bedlam on the Burnaby, British Columbia-based Condor exploit label (home to a wide diversity of bands, among them Latin Holiday, Blues Train, the Surf Riders, and the Jimmy Cole Unlimited), and were intensely weird even for the era. From there, perhaps appropriately enough, everything gets a bit fuzzy. Much of the Crazy People legend is couched in mystery and subject to various rumors and speculation. It is thought, because of the label it is on, that the band was actually an exploitation studio project rather than a proper combo. The most plausible theory is that it is the brainchild of Johnny Kitchen, whose name may seem terribly arcane to the casual music fan but is well-known among 60s collectors despite the fact that his identity remains a complete enigma. What is known about Kitchen is...
