1 Lord, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!

You have set your glory
in the heavens.
2 Through the praise of children and infants
you have established a stronghold against your enemies,
to silence the foe and the avenger.
3 When I consider your heavens,
the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars,
which you have set in place,
4 what is mankind that you are mindful of them,
human beings that you care for them?

Psalm 8 NIV
Jesus of Nazareth was intimately familiar with the Book of Psalms as we can see from His teachings. He refers to the children and infants mentioned in Psalm 8 when the ire of religious authorities is raised by His healing people and by childrens praise
Let the children sing the glory of God the Creator!The blind and the lame came to him at the temple, and he healed them. But when the chief priests and the teachers of the law saw the wonderful things he did and the children shouting in the temple courts, �Hosanna to the Son of David,� they were indignant.
�Do you hear what these children are saying?� they asked him.
�Yes,� replied Jesus, �have you never read,
��From the lips of children and infants
you, Lord, have called forth your praise?��
And he left them and went out of the city to Bethany, where he spent the night.
