Working our way through the game now with this lovely, information packed strategy guide. We use the guide primarily only when were really stuck on a shrine or trying to figure out a puzzle. The included map with korok seeds and shrine locations is particularly useful. As someone who hasnt purchased a strategy guide in 15 years, Im tremendously impressed with the quality and the sheer amount of content in this guide. You wont regret it.
So far this has been a great help with progressing through Breath of The Wild. I have not used the walkthrough as I want to progress through the main quest on my own, but there is plenty of other useful information in this book including a complete list of Shrines and side quests and item and enemy information. Plus general tips on gameplay. Im no stranger to Zelda but Breath of The Wild breaks Zelda conventions to the point where its as if its my first Zelda game. With the level of difficulty having a guide is really useful, especially when its accompanied by clear illustrations.

I got the paperback version and the binding seems strong, and the pages are laminated to prevent damage. Its very high quality for a paperback. The book is well organized and easy to navigate. My only real complaint is the map placement. Maps are frequently placed over both pages and the part where the seams meet is very hard to read.
This book is a MUST HAVE for a completionist! The massive map included with the hard cover is approx 38x26 inches of Breath of the Wild glory. One side of the map shows major landmarks (shrines, towers, towns, and other places youll go along the main quests travels) the other side shows the location and puzzle type of ALL NINE HUNDRED Korok seeds! The book itself is 370 pages thick, showing off everything from a main quest walkthrough, to every shrines puzzle and all of the side quests. It also has a super complete inventory list, including how to acquire each item, and what you need to upgrade them as well. About the only thing missing is a completed compendium, but figuring that out yourself is half the fun :)
Overall, best game guide Ive read in a really long time. Some complained about the tiny grey font, but I didnt even notice it. Theres so much information packed into 370 pages I love it just the way it is!
The pictures and art are wonderful, and the pages are very thick. The font size is very small, so if you have trouble reading small words be aware of that. After thumbing though I can see how the guide is going to be very helpful mostly in side quests, finding shrines, making food and elixers and the like. The main quest is easy enough to follow without a walk though. All in all this is a must have for us to really dig deeper in all the game has to offer.
