J-Stars Victory Vs+ - PlayStation 4
J-Stars Victory Vs+ is a 2v2 fighting game that combines the universes of several Weekly Sh?nen Jump manga series, including former series and some that have been transferred to other magazines. It features characters from Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, Fist of the North Star, YuYu Hakusho, Hunter X Hunter, and many more. Despite most reviews for this game, I feel it has a lot of depth. Game focuses on teamwork and plenty of combos if are you are into that as well. Huge roster and plenty of combos as well.
To add on to the depth, while button layout is simple, this game relies on management and being aware of surroundings. You and your partner share one assist and that assist has shared cooldown. So you need to be careful and time your assists correctly and coordinate with your partner so you dont waste it. Paying attention to the HUD is critical as it can determine a match if you dont pay attention. Keeps you from rushing in blindly when the team has a stocked ultimate. All the characters are very different and no character is truly bad to the point it feels impossible to win. What makes this very special is that since this game was balanced around 2v2, you have characters that instead of doing big damage they focus on setting up tag team attacks to do damage and build the ultimate meter quicker. There is a character for every playstyle and that is what makes this game truly special.

God Eater 2: Rage Burst - PlayStation 4 Standard Edition
The story is kind of lame. The upgrade system they use in the game is really in-depth. The game play is really fun though. The controls are pretty responsive.

Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization
This is the best SAO game I have played so far. It is a huge upgrade from the previous games. Graphics are beautiful. Character customization has been improved though it is still just customizing Kirito (which I dont mind). There are still many side stories to read through. Kirito actually talks in this game so hes finally not a silent protagonist anymore. However, the thing that slightly bothers me is the translations. The dialogue differs from what the characters are actually saying, which makes them seem out of character. It just feels like the text sometimes doesnt fall in with their personalities. The overall meaning can be considered the same but its how its worded that bothers me. The combat system is awesome with various combos to do. It sort of combines Hollow Fragment and Lost Song together. It brings about an action feel while also keeping the RPG feel to it. I have put almost 40 hours into the game and Im still not even close to finishing the game. Theres definitely a lot to do! This game is a good buy for fellow SAO fans.
So I finished the story and it feels sort of empty afterwards. Unlike in Hollow Fragment, there are not many high difficulty areas/quests that you can do in single-player. Youd have to actually go into multiplayer and do solo mode or party to increase the difficulty. The bad thing is that you cannot jump to a different location from the map like in single player. You have to go back to the lobby every time. Monsters in single player remain the same level so they become extremely weak once you pass their level. The drops are the same and not very unique. Weapon designs and armors get recycled with different colors, making it bland. At this point, the endgame seems like a bunch of farming for materials to make legendary weapons. Just have to look forward to the future DLCs that will be coming.

Tales of Berseria - PlayStation 4
m only a little over 2 hours into the game but so far Im liking it a lot. I have never played the Tales games before until I recently purchased Tales of Zestiria which is a pretty cool game too. I still havent finished Zestiria because I couldnt wait to play Berseria. :D I should probably finish Zestiria first but gosh darn it, this one is too good to stop. Lol. The graphics are pretty good in my opinion. I mean its not like FF-XV which I had finished but still pretty good. The combat system seems to be better than Zestiria I think and everything seems to be easier to understand at least for me. Still a lot of button mashing which makes my hand cramp up quickly but what the heck.... Im enjoying this game!!! :) The best part of this game I would have to say is the story. All I can say is WOW! I mean it grabs you from the beginning and certainly gives the player an understanding of Velvet, which I think is a pretty cool and tough gal. Im very happy that I took the chance and purchased both Zestiria and Berseria. Both games will keep me busy for quite some time.
